Meet your Herbalist
Danielle has long felt a quiet calling to herbal medicine and to weaving holistic approaches into everyday life. She is deeply drawn to the alchemy of medicine making, where plants, intention, and care come together in meaningful transformation. Working with plant medicine in a tangible, hands on way became her entry point into truly understanding its power. Her journey began in the kitchen, crafting medicinal body butters and salves to nourish and restore the skin. From there, her practice naturally expanded into creating thoughtfully balanced teas and tinctures. A pivotal moment in Danielle’s path came when her dog was diagnosed with cancer. Through the supportive use of plant medicine, she witnessed its ability to enhance wellbeing, comfort, and quality of life. This experience deepened her commitment to herbal medicine and affirmed her trust in the quiet wisdom of the plants.
Danielle is passionate about empowering individuals and supporting them in meeting their health goals. She understands that bio-individuality is an essential aspect of her work. Danielle’s approach is to meet you where you are at and work together to build connections with plants medicine and discover a path to intentional healing.
Danielle’s formal education in Western herbal medicine is rooted in comprehensive, community-centered training through the Berkeley Herbal Center in Berkeley, California, a long-standing and respected herbal education and clinical institution. Through Berkeley Herbal Center’s Villages Herbalist Program (Year One and Year Two), she completed immersive coursework in plant materia medica, herbal energetics, human physiology, therapeutic herbal formulation, and medicine making.
Danielle further deepened her clinical skills through Berkeley Herbal Center’s year-long Clinical Practicum, where she gained supervised experience supporting clients in a community herbal clinic setting and bringing her herbal knowledge into real-world practice.
Berkeley Herbal Center’s training programs are designed to help students accrue many of the educational and clinical hours recommended by the American Herbalists Guild (AHG) for those pursuing the Registered Herbalist (RH) credential, which emphasizes robust study in botanical medicine, evidence-based herbal therapeutics, and clinical experience.
Danielle is continuing her education and relationship at the Berkeley Herbal Center as their online herbalist clinician for 2026.
